Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Read the Label
Start with the product label. It includes your application rate, safety instructions, and mixing directions. Always follow the label before anything else.
2. Calibrate Your Sprayer
Make sure your sprayer is outputting approximately 680ml per minute.
- Adjust nozzles or pressure as needed.
- This ensures you apply the right amount for your lawn size and product rate.
3. Mix Your Solution
- Fill your sprayer halfway with clean water.
- Shake the LAWNZ product bottle well to mix contents.
- Measure and pour in the required amount of product (check the label).
- Add Marksman dye if applying herbicide or a plant growth regulator.
- Top up with water and mix thoroughly.
4. Spray Evenly
- Hold the nozzle(s) 450–600mm above the lawn.
- Walk at a steady pace while maintaining consistent pressure.
- Overlap slightly with each pass to avoid missed areas.
- Use marker dye to help track your coverage.
5. Clean Up
- Rinse your sprayer immediately after use using clean water (and detergent if needed).
- Never store leftover product in your sprayer — it can cause damage or clogs.
- Wash your gear and clean your hands, arms, and face with soap and water.
